This work serves as the starting point for Humor of the Uncanny. Based on an interest in designs that make people uncomfortable, it explores the spectrum between disgust and attraction. Inspired by Julia Kristeva's concept of "Abjection," it focuses on the idea that our bodies become the most impure beings the moment our excrement is excreted. Through experiential art, it demonstrates that ugliness and beauty can coexist, and that this irony can actually be a source of attraction.

유머 오브 언캐니의 출발점인 작품. 사람을 불편하게 하는 디자인에 대한 관심을 바탕으로 혐오와 끌림 사이의 스펙트럼에 관해서 탐구한다. Julia Kristeva의 ‘Abjection’ 개념에서 영감을 받아 우리 몸의 배설물이 배출되는 순간 가장 불결한 존재로 전락한다는 점에 주목해서 추함과 아름다움은 공존할 수 있으며 그 아이러니함이 오히려 사람을 이끌리게 할 수 있다는 점을 체험형 미술 작품으로 표현한다.
